- Description
- Risek 40 mg capsules contain omeprazole which is used in the treatment of acidity(heart burn), peptic ulcer disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux). Omeparazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion and heartburn.
- How to use
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Risek 40 mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time preferably one hour before meals or one hour after meals.
- Precautions
- Risek may be unsafe for use in pregnancy but probably safe for use during lactation. However it should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease.
