- Robidom SR Capsules contains Domperidone 30 mg and Rabeprazole 20 mg which is used in the treatment of acidity and heartburn. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
- How to use
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Robidom SR is to be taken empty stomach. Take it preferably 30 minutes before food.
- Precautions
- Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition.
Robidom SR unsafe to use during pregnancy and lactation. Please consult your doctor. Robidom SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney and liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
