- Composition: Levocetirizine 2.5 mg and Montelukast 4 mg. Levokast Kid Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of allergic symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness. It also reduces inflammation in the airways and make breathing easier. it can also be used in the management of asthma.
- How to use
- Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. The typical dose for children is 4 mg to 5 mg once a day. Levolukast is typically used at the same time every day. There are no known habit-forming tendencies with this medicine.
- Precautions
- Do not drive or operate heavy machinery. Not recommended for prevention of exercise induced bronchospasms. Not recommended in patients who are taking asthma medications, Suffering from epilepsy or fits or kidney failure. Take this drug at bedtime. Do not give to children under the age of 6 unless directed by a physician. If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Levokast Kid Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions.
