- Description
- Zinnat 500 mg contains cefuroxime which is a broad spectrum antibiotic is active against a wide range of bacteria. Zinnat is indicated for the treatment of throat,sinus,ear infections,lung and chest infections, urine infection, skin and tissue infection.
- How to use
- The usual course of therapy 500 mg twice a day for 7 to 10 days taken after food for optimum absorption. The dosage may vary for different conditions. Always consult your doctor before taking this medication.
- Precautions
- Zinnat 500 mg is contra-indicated in Patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporin antibiotics or any other ingredients in it. It may also reduce the effectiveness of the contraceptive pill. Prolonged use may also result in the overgrowth of Candida.
