- Voltaren Retard 100 mg tablets contains Diclofenac 100 mg which is used for pain relief. It relieves pain in conditions like headache, mild migraine, muscle pain, dental pain, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, or painful menses. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
- How to use
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Voltaren Retard 100mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
- Precautions
- Taking diclofenac with alcohol can increase your risk of stomach bleeding.Voltaren Retard 100 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy but probably safe to use during lactation.
Voltaren Retard 100 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney and liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
