- Nexium 10 mg sachets contain Esomeprazole in granule formulation for oral suspension (Pediatric). Esomeprazole which is a proton pump inhibitor that works by reducing the stomach acid secretion. It is used to treat dyspepsia or indigestion, peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophangeal reflux disease (G.E.R.D) and zollinger Ellison syndrom disease.
- How to use
- Weight less than 10 kg-20 kg: 10 mg once daily for 8 weeks. Weight above 20 kg: 10 mg or 20 mg once daily for 8 weeks.
- Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or its ingredient and to substituted benzimidazoles. Consult a doctor before giving this medication.
