Composition
Melcam 7.5 mg tablet: Each tablet contains Meloxicam BP 15 mg

Indication
Meloxicam is indicated for ?
? Short-term symptomatic treatment of acute exacerbations of Osteoarthrosis.
? Long-term symptomatic treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis (chronic polyarthritis).
? Treatment of Ankylosing spondylitis.

Dosage & Administration:
Adult and adolescent over 16 years:
Acute exacerbations of Osteoarthrosis: 7.5 mg/day. If necessary, in the absence of
improvement, the dose may be increased to 15 mg/day.
Rheumatoid arthritis: 15 mg/day. In elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis the
recommended dose for long term treatment is 7.5 mg per day.
Ankylosing spondylitis: 15 mg/day. In elderly patients with Ankylosing spondylitis the
recommended dose is 7.5 mg per day.
Do not exceed the dose of 15 mg/day. The total daily amount should be taken as a single
dose, with water or another liquid during a meal.
In dialysis patients with severe renal failure the dose should not exceed 7.5 mg per day.
