- Mediven-S ointment contains betamethasone and salicylic acid which are used to treat different skin conditions. Betamethasone is a steroid which helps relieve swelling, redness and itch on the skin.
Salicylic acid helps remove rough patches of skin. - How to use
- Apply a thin layer to the affected area and rub it gently into the skin. Generally this medicine is used twice daily.
Follow all instructions carefully and do not use this product more often than prescribed; an increase in side effects could occur.
You should notice skin improvement within one week. Do not bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you are instructed to do so by your doctor. - Precautions
- It is contraindicated in patients with: Allergies to any of the active ingredients.
During pregnancy or breast-feeding unless under a doctor approval.
