- Hemsamic 500 mg contains Tranexamic Acid which is used in the treatment of bleeding. It is used to prevent or reduce bleeding for short period of time in conditions like heavy periods, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, nosebleed, tooth removal, after prostate surgery or after bladder surgery. It works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots to control excessive bleeding during periods, or after surgery.
- How to use
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Hemsamic is to be taken with food.
- Precautions
- Hemsamic capsules should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
