- Description
- Clavulin 1 g contains amoxicillin 875 mg and clavulanic acid 125 mg. It is an anti-biotic that belongs in a group of medicines called ” Penicillin”. Clavulin is used to treat sinus infection, upper respiratory tract infection(URTI), Skin infection, Urinary tract infection(UTI), Dental infections and other bacterial infections.
- How to use
- Dosage: One tablet two to three times after every 8 hours. Consult with your doctor on dosages and duration as this may vary with different conditions.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Clavulin 1 g Tablet is to be taken with food.
This will help to avoid stomach upset. - Precautions
- Contraindicated In patients with a history of hypersensitivity to betalactams, e.g. Penicillins and cephalosporins. Can be used during pregnancy upon a physician approval for treatment.
Clavulin 1 g is safe for use during lactation.
