- Description
- Cetamol syrup contains paracetamol which is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reliever). It also relieves minor aches and pains due to headaches, common cold, toothache, flu and sore throat.
- How to use
- 3 months – 1 year: 60 mg – 120 mg (? – 1 teaspoonful)
1 year – 5 years: 120 mg – 250 mg (1 – 2 teaspoonful)
6 years – 12 years: 250 mg – 500 mg (1 – 2 dessertspoonful)
The dose may be repeated every 4 – 6 hours when necessary (maximum 4 doses in 24 hours) - Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any other component of the product.
Caution should be observed in liver conditions.Stop using Cetamol if Pain gets worse or lasts for more than 5 days or Fever gets worse or lasts for more than 3 days.
Taking more than the recommended dose may cause hepatic toxicity.
