- Catoxymag N Suspension is a combination of four medicines: Aluminium Hydroxide, Magnesium, Activated Dimethicone/Simethicone and Alginic Acid. Aluminum hydroxide and magnesium neutralize the excess acid in stomach. Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas. Alginic acid forms a thick foam in the stomach which acts as a barrier to reflux (acid going up to the food pipe). Catoxymag N Suspension is used in the treatment of acidity, stomach ulcer, and bloating. It neutralizes excessive acid in the stomach and helps in easy passage of gas.
- How to use
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Catoxymag N Suspension is to be taken with food.
- Precautions
- Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.
