Description

Description: Augmentin suspension 200 mg/28 mg per 5 ml contains Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. It is an antibiotic that belongs in a group of medicines called ” Penicillin”. Augmentin is used to treat sinus infection, throat and chest infection, Skin infection, Urinary infection, Dental infections and other bacterial infections.
How to use: Children 2-6 years (13kg-21kg): 5ml twice daily. 7-12 years (22kg-40kg):10ml twice daily. Consult your doctor on the dosage as this may vary for different conditions.
Precautions: Contraindicated In patients with a history of hypersensitivity to beta-lactams, e.g. Penicillins and cephalosporins. Can be used during pregnancy upon a physician approval for treatment.
